In Bitcoin Ordinals news, $SATS has completely minted out, which is incredibly impressive for a token with 2100 trillion in supply.

In fact, the inscription fees alone used to mint out $SATS accounted for roughly $20 million. 🤯

The “War” on Inscription Numbers

And one last Bitcoin Ordinals news: Casey, the man who kicked off the Ordinals movement, released a bombshell blogpost regarding removing inscription numbers on BTC Ordinals.

Due to “cursed” inscriptions, multiple indexers, and varying consensus, inscription numbers are both blocking future developments to the protocol and keeping an inaccurate order of inscriptions.

His idea: Remove their importance and bless all “cursed” inscriptions back into the main number order line.

The community is having some fantastic discourse around this, and it’s yet to be seen what the solution will be.

Either way, we’re rooting for our Ordinals family and are positive they’ll make the right decision moving forward. 💪
